Dear Applicant,
Thank you for being interested in taking internship at UNICEF Ukraine.
For your kind information and consideration, please, be advised on our internship eligibility requirements and conditions:
- Being a graduate or post-graduate student in a field related to international or social development, child survival or development, or management, or any other related field
- Having proficiency in at least one of UNICEF’s working languages
- Having very good academic performance and support by the sponsoring institution (University, any other related Institution or Government).
Any internship at UNICEF can last from 6 to 15 weeks. Interns are not requested to do ‘routine’ office work.
UNICEF Ukraine organizes a working place with all the necessary facilities for each intern.
In
case of acceptance, each intern is to sign a waiver stating their
offering services on a voluntary basis, i.e. receiving no payment as
well as having all the expenses borne by themselves or their sponsoring
institution; expecting no employment at the end of the service; and
keeping confidential any and all unpublished information made known to
them during the internship tenure.
Upon the end of the service,
an intern is evaluated by their supervisor as well as can be asked to
prepare a short written report on the activities undertaken as well as
results achieved.
